Removal could be done surgically/surgically with radio waves/by laser or electro surgically, and except for the virus polyps and warts, the tissue is sent for histopathology analysis. Depending on the size of the defect after the removal, the issue will be either stitched surgically or closed with surrounding skin tissue or free skin transplant, or in cases of smaller changes it is left to heal self by secondary epithelization.

Remaining scars could be treated with various cremes, or, in the active phase of the healing process, with silicone plates. After this surgery hospital stay is not compulsory.
